Our 2021 Gem Show is nearly here!

The South Burnett Gem and Fossicking Club is currently finishing off the arrangements necessary to make this Gem Show one of the best going in South East Queensland. The Kingaroy Showgrounds will host this event on Saturday and Sunday, the 10th and 11th of April 2021, and will include Outside Tailgaters and Inside Traders with wide range of gems, crystals, minerals, equipment and much, much more, just for you.

Entry for Children 12 and under is free and they will not only be able to inspect every stall, they will be able to sieve through sand and find a little treasure. They will also be able to pick out a thunder egg, get it cut on a diamond saw and see what amazing designs and minerals are inside. They, plus their parents, will also be able to watch informative demonstrations and ask questions of experts.

In addition to the huge range of saleable items available at the many stalls, all adults will be in the running for door prizes regularly drawn, with winners advised over the PA system. Raffles for a range interesting and valuable items will also be on offer.

While Queensland is amazingly free of Covid19, we are still required to put into place some visitor controls and procedures. Please be patient with the volunteer staff should that be required.
